Da Rize of Young Jeezy

Jay Jenkins was born on October 12, 1977.  His stage name is Young Jeezy.  He is a popular rapper who grew up in Macon, Georgia, and currently lives in Atlanta.  Young Jeezy, who was formerly a member of Boyz N Da Hood from Bad Boy Records, is currently signed with Def Jam Records.  He is often referred to as the “Snowman” by himself and others.  This nickname is said to be related to his prior job as a cocaine dealer, though Young Jeezy says that it is just his alter ego.  This nickname inspired Jeezy to produce his own t-shirt line with a simple picture of a snowman with an angry face.  While the t-shirts have grown in popularity, some high schools have banned the shirts because of the drug connotation undertones. Young Jeezy has had a couple run-ins with the law.  In 2005, Jeezy was charged for not making timely payments of child support for his ex-girlfriend’s child.  In March 2006, Jeezy was put under arrest on two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit.  Howe

Buying a New Car: It’s Time We Are as Vigilant as Ever

It seems as though everyone is out to get our money.  Costs are skyrocketing and more and more products and services are out vying for our attention.  Media is focusing its attention on "rear attacks" by directing its advertising on our children, our needs, our fears and emotions.  Okay, well, that part's not new, but it's certainly more effective. Brand recognition is critical for highly competitive retail items and customer service and reputation is the variable that either makes or breaks the deal. So, why hasn't any of this competition changed the way we buy cars ? Remember back in the 70's?  The good old days when buying a new car meant strolling down to the nearest cheesy car lot, getting battered by a slick, fast-talkin' dude all decked out in his disco best. How is it that, even though the attire and cheese-factor have changed, the slick, fast-talkin' dudes still exist?  And seem to be doing better than ever. Today's car dealershi

Are You Really Safe From Carjackers?

Carjacking. What is it? Well, it is a crime of motor vehicle theft. Most of the time, a carjacker is armed so much so that the owner of the driver of the car is forced out of the vehicle. Aside from the fact that you may never see your vehicle again, carjacking could also be very hazardous to both your physical safety as well as the carjacker’s. You see, if you are the victim, you may try to maneuver your way out and in the process run the carjacker over. On the other hand, the carjacker could use their weapon and try shooting you. They also try pushing the occupant out of the car. If you are simply going to park your car, make sure that you park it somewhere that has lots of lights. Also, be sure that it is a busy area with plenty of motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic. If possible, try parking somewhere that is very close to your destination. The more people around, the lesser the chances of a carjacker striking and working up the nerve to attack your car. Also, make sure that

Attending To Your Air Filter Duties

The air filter is one of the parts and components of your car that you do need to change regularly. After all, it is one of those parts that really do a messy kind of work. Remember that one of its main functions is to actually prevent particulate matter from entering important parts of your engine. What is important is that you should be able to keep in mind that air filters need to be changed regularly. Automobile experts suggest that you should at least replace an air filter annually. However, there are exemptions to this rule and these exemptions depend on the kind of performance that your car has along with its frequency of use. If air filters are new, they actually increase your car’s efficiency. So it means that if you have old or dirty air filters, you would have higher chances of receiving a lowered efficiency. Replacing your air filters need not be expensive on your part as owner of a car. There is no need to go to a mechanic or auto service center. You actually can do i

18 Simple Ways To Save Money On Your Car

After you get recommendations for honest mechanics, call around to check out the prices for certain jobs. It’s always smart to get a second opinion.  How about some preventative medicine? Keep your gas tank filled. This will help you avoid the gas line freezing up in cold weather. Also, driving on “fumes” allows little pieces of dirt at the bottom of your gas tank to run through the fuel lines with the last drops of gas. This debris clogs up the fuel filter and can cause carburettor damage as well.  Sometimes a problem with your car’s electrical system results from a simple blown fuse. Check to see if you have any blown fuses before investing in a tow truck! Keep track of how much oil your car uses. A sudden change in oil consumption means you need to see a technician. Save your brakes by having your brake fluid changed every 30,000 miles. Check your tire pressure once a month. This simple maintenance check can add up savings at the gas pump!  Stop and go traffic causes ex
